But seriously, wtf? This isn’t really offensive against the idea of punk (or ‘punk’) as much as it is against the idea of good parenting (or just ‘communication’). “Don’t have a grandson with a dog collar” - why not?
I dunno, I’m not sure which is worse: deep satire being used in advertising to bamboozle people into buying stuff, or dog-whistling (or -collaring) conservative mores on the assumption that people will actually agree.
