By comparison, this just seems cute (although I’ve always thought the “missing apostrophe” is kinda dismissive of his Kenyan heritage and the actual surname Obama). I’m glad the New Republic is able to make it about atheism, though:
“Apparently, Team Obama felt the use of an actual shamrock would be too overtly Christian.”
Maybe it’s not about the Trinity, though - maybe it’s about Four More Leaves?
