Male Bonding - ‘Year’s Not Long’ from Nothing Hurts (2010)

This shit is the anti-Wavves. Whereas for me King of the Beach is essentially “Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated” written up in neon colours and hipster triangles, Nothing Hurts just feels right, which is an embarrassingly non-rational thing to say, but effectively explains why one works as a punk album and the other doesn’t.
