Hooray for Humans - ‘Pimptacious’ from Safekeeping (Out On A Limb Records, 2007)

A very good performance of this song by the band at Tower Records in Dublin (they’re an independent store, who have the name on license) yesterday.

The title somehow sounds more innocent when said in a Cork accent.

I wrote your name on the palm of my hand

It’s the only thing I need to remember

Hooray for Humans - ‘06 Forever’ from Safekeeping (2007)

Happy-clappy emo/post-punk with a great guitar line and, at one point, whistles.

Hooray for Humans - ‘Already Sleeping’ b/w ‘Hidden Hands’ (vinyl rip, two songs in one track)

Irish band who take their name from a Q and not U song. Fuzzy electro-pop done by a skilled guitar player with a great love of DC emo guitar-rock.
